Hi! My name is Ava. I am a data analyst based in San Francisco.

I am passionate about the intersection of data and social impact, particularly as relates to climate and conservation.

  • July 2023 – Present: Business Intelligence Analyst, Product Analytics at GoodRx, working to reduce the prices Americans pay for their prescription drugs.
  • September 2022 – June 2023: Data Scientist, Product Analytics at Meta. Worked on the Social Impact Products, focusing on Instagram’s fundraising product and tools for nonprofits.
  • May 2020 – June 2022: Applied Data Analysis Fellow at Institute for Policy Research, worked at Corners Lab studying violence prevention and police misconduct.

  • B.A. in Statistics and Economics from Northwestern University (Graduated March 2022, GPA 3.8/4.0)

Personal Projects:

Current

  • April 2023 – Current: Volunteer at Bay Area Puma Project, which tracks and researches mountain lions in the Bay Area. I collect field data, perform maintenance on field cameras, and help with data classification and basic data analysis.
